Torrington Rotary Foundation

The Torrington Rotary Club has formed its own charitable foundation. The Torrington Rotary Foundation (TRF) is a 501 (c) 3 entity and serves two purposes.

First Purpose:

The first purpose is to place tax-deductible donations into a fund that will appreciate in time. The monies from this fund may be used to support large endeavors and/or projects that may be outside the scope of regular funding obtained through the Torrington Rotary Charitable Golf Tournament.

Second Purpose:

The second purpose is to provide a way for Rotarians or Non-Rotarians to make a tax- deductible donation in memory of or in honor of a special person. Honorary gifts have been received to celebrate important life achievements such as a special birthday, an award or promotion to name a few. Gifts have been received in memory of many community members who have been or whose families are involved in or know of Rotary.

The TRF fund is monitored by the Past Presidents of Torrington Rotary and is administered by the Community Foundation of Northwest Connecticut.
