Paul Harris Fellows

Rotary International’s highest honor is to be recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow. The Torrington Rotary Club accepts nominees for this prestigious award from its membership.

To be nominated, the recipient, Rotarian or Non-Rotarian, must be a person of:

• High moral character and principles.
• Action: must have initiated fine community works, projects and programs over a long time frame.
•  Must have positive impact on the lives of those in the local or world community.
• Has met and surpassed the meaning of the Rotary Motto, “Service Above Self”

The number of Paul Harris Recognitions per year can vary. This life event is often celebrated at an evening dinner and presentation program.
