About the Torrington Rotary Club

The Torrington Rotary Club was chartered on April 1, 1920. The Club has held meetings in only two places in the past 89 years. For many years, the club met at the Yankee Pedlar Inn and presently meets at the Torrington Elks Club. This stability and commitment is one of the hallmarks of Torrington Rotary. We are here to help!
The Club's roster regularly numbers 80 individuals, all having strong community ties.
The Torrington Club fully embraces the Four Avenues of Service:

The Torrington Rotary Club is very active in all “Avenues of Service”. Rotary generosity and commitment has touched every non-profit agency in Torrington and nearby communities in some way. We have been active in poverty, health, women’s and educational issues from the very beginning of the club and our resolve to continue working on these issues will never waiver.
To be a Torrington Rotarian, you must be ready with your talent, time and treasure to make life a little better for others.
